“This was a tough but amazing day. Our guide Woody and driver Yu were great. The hike was challenging, but Woody was able to share many stories and details of Chinese history along the way. If you want to get away from the crowded overrun parts of the Great Wall, and are up for the challenge, then this is a brilliant tour for you. The views are breathtaking and well worth the effort. Lunch after the treck was also amazing. It was a favourite local restaurant of Woody's, and we were all greatfull at the end of a long hot day. Thanks Woody and Yu for some incredible memories.”

“Great tour. Booked one day in advance and driver picked us up at our hotel right on time We did this off-season, so maybe not as easy peak season. We intentionally picked a day with expected low pollution count to get better visibility. Wind is the key to clearing things up. We could see all the way to Beijing. Picked up Jack our guide en route out of the city. Traffic always intense so plan mentally for a grind out of the city. Driver dropped us at trailhead and guide Jack led us up the 40 minute track to the first tower. Probably the toughest part, but doable for anyone…”

Peter was our tour guide, he made this experience more than just a tourist accomplishment.
