“Suzhou City is a gem of a place less than a hour on the bullet train from Shanghai. Our guide Annie was terrific and guided us from pick up at our hotel, through the busy, bustling train station, pick up with another driver to the a boat ride on the canal, gardens, delicious lunch, city walls and a park then back to the train and Shanghai. Annie is not only knowledgeable but truly intellectually curious. She didn’t give stock answers to questions but listened to your questions and ask questions herself.
